Oppo Find X is a brand new flagship phone from the Chinese consumer electronics and mobile communication company, Oppo Electronics Corporation. The phone comes in two colour variants – Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue. The phone is currently available on pre-order and the sale is expected to begin from August 3, 2018. The Oppo Find X is available in two storage options – 128 GB and 256 GB – and 8 GB RAM. It has an Octa-core (2.649 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 385 1.766 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 385) processor and 3,730 mAh battery to power it. The phone has a 16 MP camera Exmor RS sensor supporting a resolution of 4616 x 3464 Pixels. Oppo Find X features a 6.4-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and runs on.

Oppo stood at the fourth position globally and acquired the second position in China last calendar year. In India, it had 5.6% smartphone share in the first quarter of 2018, down from 9.9% share during a year earlier period. 

The Chinese handset brand recently came up with its new online brand, Realme, and is adopting “India-first approach” in a bid to garner a lion’s share in the country’s online channel, having inked an exclusive partnership with online marketplace Amazon. Under the strategy, the latest brand will launch all new devices in India first before introducing it to any other global market. With the latest device, Oppo said that it is officially entering the Europe market, and will initially focus on France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands.

The device has two gradient color combinations — Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue. 

The phone’s stealth 3D cameras include the 25-megapixel front camera and 16MP+20MP dual rear cameras. It also features flood illuminator, Infrared camera, proximity sensor, Dot projector, receiver and RGB camera are integrated into this unit, the company said. 

It said that the 3D structured light module in Find X can project 15,000 dots, building a precise and complete 3D module of a user’s face, and then compares with the registered face of the owner to unlock.

The 3D Face recognition of O-Face has a higher level of security than fingerprint identification, it claimed. The device runs ColorOS 5.1, which is based on Android 8.1 and is powered by the Snapdragon 845 mobile platform. It features the built-in Google Assistant and the smart low-power-consumption MIC with DSP module.
